About Me

I grew up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. I fell in love with singing at a young age and studied Music Education in college. This turned into a passion for education and helping others learn and grow. Over time, I found I was particularly energized by the planning, design, and technology aspects of teaching. This journey led me to the field of Instructional Design, and I currently enjoy working at the University of Colorado (Anschutz Medical Campus) as a Course Developer.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy playing piano, hiking, traveling, singing in a choir, and reading. I also love animals and am the proud cat mom of a tabby named Milo. My husband and I relocated to Denver about a year ago and we’ve loved exploring this beautiful state!
